Conni Kids provides a fun and hygienic way to help your kids get through bedwetting). The bright bed pad gives them a special place to sleep knowing that if an accident happens, the Conni kids mat will take care of it, protecting them and their expensive mattress.
When a child urinates during the night, the bed sheets and child's night clothes become wet. Waking up wet and cold, creates unnecessary stress, discomfort and sleepless nights for you and your child. The Conni Kids bed pad is designed to go on top of the bed sheets and therefore there is no need to change the bed sheets, just remove and wash the bed pad.
Sleeping on a Conni Kids bed pad, your child is less likely to wake during the night as the bed pad draws moisture away from them, however pyjama pants and other regular fabrics will remain wet, and therefore it is a good idea to put only a pyjama top and underwear on your child to allow the bed pad to work at it's best.
Some helpful information and ideas for parents :
- Encourage your child to eat their vegetables! We know it is not always easy, but good nutrition plays a valuable roll with incontinent kids, especially bowel continence. The Conni Training Kit and Reward chart could help you reward your child for finishing a healthy meal.
- Encourage your child to have a good intake of water or 'non sweetened' fluids each day. Don't stop kids from drinking because they wet the bed. This is a myth. Kids must drink a healthy amount of water or juice each day to help with continence training.
- Encourage children to take quiet time to just 'sit on the toilet'.
